Above the Fold

“Above the Fold” is a coffee table book to commemorate the chronicles of the AT&T and Time Warner Merger.

Role: Art Director

Objective: Deliver a memento to AT&T leadership detailing the trials and tribulations of the Time Warner acquisition.

Problem: How do I make a 300-page book full of information about mergers, laws, and trials digestible, elegant and professional, and using AT&T’s general brand guidelines?

Solution: The exterior of the book is reminiscent of a tasteful, traditional coffee table book, covered in a leather-like material with silver, debossed foil. Each chapter begins with a simple spread with full bleed photography and bold titles to easily section the information. Throughout, spreads with rich color, vibrant photography, impactful quotes, and court sketches are implemented to give the readers a break from the large blocks of copy.
