The Purple Leash Project is a Purina initiative to create more pet-friendly domestic violence shelters.
Role: Art Director
Objective: Generate awareness for the Purple Leash Project.
Problem: How do I promote a difficult and somber topic?
Solution: Using large color blocks of the Purple Leash Project’s vibrant purple, I created various digital, print, and experiential designs that remained bold and approachable with such a heavy topic. The black and white photography uses diverse, relatable models living in safety and comfort with their pets while the pop of purple reminds the audience of the initiative. The heart pattern, taken from the Purple Leash Project’s logo, creates friendly, welcoming visuals.
